The Allied and Soviet campaigns have 7 single-player missions each (a total of 14). Yuri's Army has no single-player campaign, the first and only time in the series that a playable faction has no single-player content. At this point in the story, the player chooses whether to side with the Allies or join the Soviets and steal the time machine to defeat Yuri as well, but at the same time return the Soviet Union to power. While the other psychic dominators go into action, the Allies attempt to power a time machine to prevent these events from occurring. President Dugan orders an air strike to destroy one of these devices on Alcatraz Island, and although the attack fails, a crashed Harrier damages the device's power source. When Yuri announces his presence and plans, a global network of devices called psychic dominators is set in motion in an attempt to enslave the entire world. While the Allies were concentrating on regaining territory and fighting forces loyal to the now former Soviet Premier Romanov, the latter's advisor Yuri secretly raised an army of his own, using his immense knowledge of psionics and genetic mutation. The story picks up right where the canonical Allied ending in Red Alert 2 left off. Yuri's Revenge is the official expansion pack for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2.
